From May 1st to May 11th, 2024, Christ College, Bhopal conducted VAC 03: Creative Horizons: Blending Arts in Education, a transformative course aimed at integrating various art forms into educational methodologies. Led by dedicated resource persons like Mrs. Rony Joy, Mr. Vikas, and Ms. Archana, participants delved into the fundamentals of art appreciation, practical workshops on visual arts and crafts, and exposure to regional performing arts. Through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and project work development, future educators were equipped with essential pedagogical skills to seamlessly integrate arts into diverse academic subjects. The course emphasized fostering artistic literacy, enhancing aesthetic sensitivity, promoting interdisciplinary integration, encouraging cultural connection, and developing pedagogical skills. Continuous assessment and evaluation ensured a comprehensive understanding of the material and culminating in presentations. Through daily journaling and peer feedback, participants were immersed in an enriching learning environment that celebrated creativity and cultural heritage, aligning with the objectives of NEP 2020.
